Located on a quiet street in a convenient location just minutes from downtown North York in Toronto, Aristo at Avonshire provides the residents with some incredible amenities, including a candlelit outdoor patio and a lush lounge area connected by a gorgeous Custom Commercial Montigo fireplace.
Aristo’s interior spaces demanded posh design, so Munge Leung Design Associates, one of Toronto’s hottest interior designer firms, took their cues from the hip modernity of Europe’s finest fashion houses and hotels. The ultra glam two-storey lobby and lounge areas are rich with natural limestone and wood, creating striking contrasts against onyx, bronzed glass, chrome and clean linear lines.
Working closely with Odyssey Fireplaces in Woodbridge, Ontario, the Montigo engineering team designed a custom see through commercial fireplace that would bridge the sophisticated interior lounge and the candlelit outdoor terrace. Aristo at Avonshire is custom fireplaces done right.
For the safety of the residents, the glass temperatures in the lounge needed to be safe to touch, while the outside glass needed to withstand the very cold winters of Ontario, Canada.
Montigo’s see through indoor/outdoor C-View STIO is the perfect fit for the Aristo at Avonshire. This 8-foot custom commercial vent free gas fireplace features built-in Power COOL-Pack glass that ensures cool-to-touch glass. The see through configuration allows loungers on both sides of the glass an unobstructed view of the flame and the common areas beyond. With a built-in power vent and intake located at the front below the glass, this unit is a dream to install and a favorite with designers.
