A brief visit with Montigo's California, Nevada & Arizona Representatives.
BTU Marketing of Lakeport California, have been a valuable Montigo Representative for approximately twelve years now. Starting with their humble beginnings in the seventies in central California they have grown the company into a well respected, knowledgeable company, that can draw upon many years of experience in the hearth and building industry.
This modest family company consists of a father 'Dave', and son team 'Rob'. Combined, they have built a well respected team that is hard to beat as Dave has been in the Hearth business since 1972. Prior to this he was a Licensed HVAC /sheet metal contractor, working as a full time gas service Technician with the two family Hearth stores in the Bay area. With all this accumulated experience Dave became extremely knowledgeable and well versed in working with both gas, and alternative heat source, fireplaces and accessories.
His son Rob has worked in the family business ever since high school, starting with the store as a shop helper and studying to be a full fledged installer, eventually working toward his goal as a BTU service Technician. Shortly after, Rob left the business for college and returned after graduation to work with his father once again in 1990 as a Rep.
Today BTU Marketing has become a ‘one-line’ gas fireplace company, working with Architects, Contractors, Distributors and the Hearth market. To date their primary interest is supplying the Montigo gas product line, gas fireplaces; C-View Custom built Fire Feature products to many happy customers in their territory.
Bravely continuing into the future Dave and Rob have compiled 65 years of experience and counting, in the Hearth and Building markets. Not many hearth suppliers can match this longetivity, wisdom and knowledge in such a vast evolving industry.

A look at the larger sibbling to the venerable L38 & L42. "A remarkable achievement in Gas fireplace technology." quoted one of our valued customers.
The L52 gas fireplace was a predictable reaction to the successful acceptance of its smaller siblings the L38 & L42-DF. Built on the same premise of quality an durability, Montigo went a step farther in design to produced a model that would appeal to a broader market. Like the L38 & L42, the L52 comes standard with patterned marbles, and as the name suggests they do look like marble. This fireplace like it's predecessors has available options such as River rocks and a stainless steel surround.
With this increase in overall size come's an increase in the glass viewing area. This translates into an increased BTU rating of 26,000, and of course more heat. And let me tell you, as a heater this gas fireplace produces it in abundance. The glass size is massive, with a overall size from outside to outside of door frame, 19-1/2" tall and 46 1/2" wide. Looks and heat, what more could anyone want?
